Jamboree parents... Estimated time for

Jamboree parents... Estimated time for arrival back is Bloomington at 5:45 and Peoria at 7:00.

They call it the smoky mountains for a reason. Also, sorry for the
delay in postings - ever since we crossed the border my data coverage
has totally dropped.

About 15 miles into West Virginia.

Getting really close to Virginia - West border! It sure is rural out
here, they seem to have blasted the interstate out of the mountains;
it's really cool!

Our current information, now that we have cell service again.

These mountains are awesome! My ears pop everytime we go up them! I
just wish my camera wasn't dead :( at least this movie is totally
awesome! (I don't mind the air conditioning either) :D
A couple updates. We are back on the bus. Monticello was awesome, but
I am a little bumed that I couldn't take pictures inside. At 7:45
eastern we will be stopping for dinner at ryans buffet. It is 5 now so
we will be watching movies on the bus. We are also traveling through
the mountains so it is both a. Rural and b. Hilly (that's a given.)
after dinner the eta will be posted.

Listening to the guide in front of the house.

One of the beautifully manuqured hedges that wrap around the home.

Picture of spicy tacos on west lawn of montecello

On the bus at Monticello

Monticello Theater watching a movie at the visitors center. It still
smell likes wood! Yay Global warming!

Getting in patrols to go inside.

Waiting to go into the Thomas Jefferson visitors center.

Now we are getting back on the bus.

As you can tell from this picture, we are near the appalcian mountains.

This is a Virginia license plate. It seems pretty plain.

I don't think that we have any pictures of our charter bus yet so,
here it is. We are sitting by the bus right now as our driver is
taking a break. The bus will be leaving at 1:00 and it is a 5 minute
drive to Monticello.

As of right now, I have taken 2,734 pictures with my digital camera.

Lunch break at Taco Bell!!!

We are almost to Monticello! the blue dot is our bus and the red
pushpin is Thomas jefferson's home that he designed himself.

We are currently driving through Richmond, Virgina. We will be
stopping for lunch in a little while.

The bus is now departing!!! :D

"Ode to a AT&T Micro-Cell"
Using you sure has been swell
during the life of an AT&T Micro-Cell.
You help hurricane victims in time of need
but helped us stay up to date with our texteed.
While this jamboree was full of power,
i sure will miss this awesome tower.

Finally boarding the bus; :(

Policing the campsite for trash.

We have figured out a new system for packing - all of bloomingtons
gear is placed on the first bus, with Peoria on two and three. By
doing this, we save confusion and time when getting off the bus.

Trying to figure out how we fit everything in the first time.

Teamwork makes everything go faster!

Specifically our bus is here, and the camp site is almost clear.
